EHO "Sunny Autumn 2024" held
04. Nov 2024.
The Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization traditionally organizes an event called "EHO Sunny Autumn" at the end of October every year, primarily dedicated to the celebration of the Day of the Elderly, but also other important events that we respect and celebrate, as a predominantly Protestant organization. October is the month when Thanksgiving is celebrated in our churches, and October 31 is Reformation Day, when we remember Martin Luther's reforming work. Through the rich cultural, artistic and spiritual content, we expressed our commitment to advocate for the well-being and dignity of our seniors - users of the EHO Club for seniors, who enriched this ceremony with their musical and reciting talents. Inspirational and encouraging messages were also given by various guests, primarily the priests of our founding churches, the choir of the Slovak Evangelical A.V. churches from Novi Sad and priest Branislav Kulik. The President of the Assembly, Daniel Halas, reminded us of the importance of the Reformation and the need to return again and again to the principles and principles of the Reformation and renew and revive our faith. We did not miss the opportunity to express our gratitude to the Lord for his favors and blessings, which he bestowed upon us this year as well. Novica Brankov, a priest of the Evangelical Methodist Church expressed it beautifully in his sermon about the (un)grateful lepers whom Jesus healed. The young and promising violinist Sergej Skeledžija delighted everyone present with his artistic performance. On this occasion, the handiwork of our seniors was also presented as part of the new project Cultural creative workshops for seniors supported by GAW (Gustav Adolf Werk) from Germany.
