Children's Rights Day celebrated: A visit to the cinema for the children from Adice

24. Nov 2024.

On the occasion of the Children's Rights Day, on December 20, a trip to the cinema was organized for children from the settlement of Adice. Children had the opportunity to enjoy the movie "Niko 3: Beyond the Polar Lights", which carries a strong message about how to face your own insecurities, the importance of friendship and love, as well as how to believe in yourself on the way to achieving your goals.

The children who participated in this activity come from Roma families and are often exposed to the risk of being involved in street life. Through the project "Support for children who are at risk of being involved in life and/or work on the street", which our organization implements with the support of the H. Stepic CEE Foundation from Vienna, we strive to provide them with the opportunity for positive integration into society, as well as to we encourage them to actively participate in social activities that will help them build a safer and happier future.

This trip to the cinema is just one of the steps in the effort to provide children from vulnerable environments with better access to education, culture and entertainment. Also, we want to encourage them to believe in their abilities and dreams. Through these activities, we show them that they deserve the same chances and rights as all other children, and that they have support on their way to realizing their potential and becoming active members of the community.
