Healthcare workshops held for beneficiaries from Adice and Veliki Rit

Healthcare workshops dedicated to personal hygiene and health improvement were held for beneficiaries from the Adice and Veliki rit (substandard settlements in Novi Sad), with the support of the Lions Club "Mileva Marić Einstein" .

The lecture on the topic of personal hygiene was held by Prof. dr sci. med. Sandra Stefan Mikić, who covered key aspects of hygiene habits: body and hand hygiene, nutrition, physical activity, sleep and rest, mental hygiene, as well as proper hygiene of clothing, footwear, cosmetics and household items. Hygiene regimes in collective accommodation were also discussed.

As part of the lecture on improving and preserving health, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Milena Spirovski, users had the opportunity to receive useful advice on maintaining hygiene, managing body weight, proper nutrition, physical activity, rest regimen, eliminating harmful habits, the importance of vaccination and developing preventive habits.

These workshops are part of the project "Support for children at risk of being involved in street life and/or work", which our organization implements with the support of the H.Stepic Foundation from Vienna . The aim of the workshops is to raise awareness and improve the health habits of the beneficiaries, contributing to their general well-being and quality of life.
