The final event was held within the project "Level Up - Business start after high school"

25. Mar 2025.

As a component of the project "Level Up - Business Start after High School", implemented in cooperation with the Secondary Mechanical Engineering School in Novi Sad and the National Employment Service, and with the support of the City of Novi Sad - City Administration for Social and Child Protection, final year students had the opportunity to acquire professional and entrepreneurial skills.

The final event, titled "Linking Skills and the Labor Market," was held at the school, featuring students who attended the workshops, a representative of the National Employment Service, and a successful entrepreneur supported by the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization (EHO).

The representative of National Employment Service discussed with the students the topics of professional presentation on the labor market, including recognizing one's own potential. Also, opportunities for additional education, employment in specific fields, and options for starting one's own business were presented. The students received information about current competitions, subsidies, loans, and other forms of support available to young entrepreneurs.

Through a conversation and presentation by a successful entrepreneur, young people had the opportunity to hear the basic differences between working for an employer and running their own business - the advantages, challenges, and responsibilities that each of these choices brings.

At the end of the event, a knowledge quiz was organized with symbolic prizes, which rounded off the entire education in a fun way. Through this project, students gained the tools and motivation for an active and successful entry into the labor market.
