The Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization Participated in Crowdfunding Campaigns Training

28. Feb 2024.
The Loud Crowd, with financial support from GIZ, organized a three-day training held from February 7 to 9 at Marsh Open Space. The training was attended by 14 civil society organizations, including representatives from the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization.
The expert team from Loud Crowd provided participants not only with theoretical knowledge but also practical skills, inspiring them to improve their ideas and projects for future crowdfunding campaigns on the Dobar Dabar platform. The training was led by Dušan Vulović, Ivana Srdanović, Aleksandra Malušev, Svetlana Preradović, and Tatjana Gostiljac, who gave presentations.
This project includes 14 organizations from across Serbia that, through previous collaboration with GIZ GmbH, expressed interest in more efficient fundraising and community engagement. Among these organizations are those facing specific challenges in their work, such as Roma organizations, organizations advocating for better inclusion of women and youth, as well as those working to improve living conditions in marginalized communities. In this context, crowdfunding has proven to be an extremely effective channel for raising necessary funds and mobilizing the community.
The training covered all key aspects of successful crowdfunding campaigns, from basic principles to advanced strategies. Participants had the opportunity to learn how to engage the community, build trust with donors, and successfully promote their initiatives. Special emphasis was placed on the Dobar Dabar platform, which has become an important tool for organizations in Serbia seeking to mobilize resources and support for their projects.
Through this training, the organizations gained new knowledge and skills that will enable them to improve their crowdfunding campaigns, become more sustainable and efficient in achieving their goals, and contribute to positive changes in the communities where they operate.
