The Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization organized the signing of donation contracts for small school projects aimed at improving interculturality, non-discrimination and inclusion at the EHO Center. The contracts were signed for the implementation of 10 school initiatives aimed at creating a non-discriminatory environment, improving the inclusion of children from vulnerable groups and fostering interculturality. This marks the beginning of the implementation of new, inspiring initiatives that will be implemented by ten educational institutions – seven primary schools, two preschool institutions and one secondary school, with the aim of strengthening mutual understanding, accepting diversity and encouraging more active involvement of children and parents in school life. Grants in the amount of approximately 150,000 dinars per project were awarded.

By the end of this year, in order to prevent discrimination and create an inclusive and intercultural education system, projects will be implemented in the following educational institutions: "Nikola Tesla" Secondary School from Velika Plana, "22 Oktobar" Primary School from Surčin, "19 Oktobar" Primary School from Kragujevac, "Karađorđe" Primary School from Velika Plana, "Olga Milošević" Primary School from Smederevska Palanka, "Vojvoda Putnik" Primary School from Ripanj, "Vuk Karadžić" Primary School from Niš, "Jovan Popović" Primary School from Susek, "Čika Jova Zmaj" Primary School from Smederevska Palanka and "Nada Naumović" Primary School from Kragujevac.

Through the planned activities, schools and preschools will focus on empowering students and parents, developing socio-emotional skills, and promoting education that fosters understanding of different cultures. The ecumenical humanitarian organization proudly supports these initiatives, believing that they will contribute to creating a better, interconnected society and accessible and inclusive education for all.
