In the Principovac refugee reception Center, EHO associates on the project "Empowering Refugee Women, Children and Unaccompanied Minors in Serbia" organized a landscaping improvement campaign. This activity was financially supported by our donor ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America) and implemented in cooperation with the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia (KIRS).

The improvement campaign was implemented in three stages: EHO staff purchased planting material, paints for decorating flower bedsand flower pots, while the beneficiaries staying at the Principovac Community Center organized preparations for planting flowers - prepared flower beds and painted flower pots, and finally planted flowers and arranged garden in the grounds of the Reception Center.

The goal of these workshops is to encourage a sense of organizing living space, encourage mutual tolerance in group work, and create a pleasant atmosphere for staying.
