The Director of the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization, Anna Brtka Valent, represented our organization at the ACT Europe Regional Forum Annual Meeting, held on May 28, 2025, in Dublin.

The forum gathered representatives from organizations across Europe under the common theme “Together for a Just World.” The focus of the meeting was on shared challenges and humanitarian priorities for 2025 – including responses to crises (particularly in Ukraine), strengthening local capacities, intergenerational leadership, as well as reporting and planning within the network.

EHO contributed by proposing initiatives aimed at strengthening mutual partnerships and exploring the potential and mechanisms of all network members. The goal is to join forces in addressing the growing challenges caused by changes in funding systems, which increasingly impact the sustainability of humanitarian work.

This was also a valuable opportunity to engage in conversations with some of our partner donors who were also present at the meeting.
