My Path, Our Story

Klub za devojčice, OŠ Vuk Karadžić Niš

05. Jun 2025.

A workshop was held at the "Vuk Karadžić" Elementary School in Niš as part of the project "Social Inclusion for a Dignified Life of Roma and Other Vulnerable Persons in Serbia 2023-2026" implemented by the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization with the support of the Swiss organization HEKS/EPER. Volunteers from Turkey, Gulcan and Nazife, shared their life experiences with our girls from the Girls' Club through the topic "My Story Life".

Each of their stories was an inspiration and a light that shone in the girls' eyes. The volunteers showed the girls how, despite all the challenges, one can dream, work and fight for a better life and in this way inspired these young and smart girls to walk bravely through life.

"I want to finish school, enroll in college, travel and live independently" - these are the words of girls who dream big dreams, and no one can stop them!

Marta proudly said: “I am proud to be part of the Girls Club, because I find myself here.” And indeed, she and her friends are creating their future, step by step, learning how to become the best version of themselves.

In conversation with the volunteers in Turkish, the girls shared ideas, laughter, and hopes. These workshops are not only an opportunity to learn, but also to build strong, independent women who will change the world around them.
