EHO representatives at the online training "Building the capacity of civil society organizations for advocacy and lobbying on the topic of homelessness"

12. Jun 2025.

On Monday, June 9, 2025, EHO Project Coordinator Tanja Stojković and EHO Project Associate Vuk Kockar participated in an online training entitled "Building the Capacity of Civil Society Organizations for Advocacy and Lobbying on Homelessness", organized by the ADRA Serbia. The training was implemented as part of the ComeHome - Combating Homelessness in the Western Balkans project, with financial support from the Federal Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health, Social Welfare and Consumer Protection of the Republic of Austria.

The training covered current issues related to homelessness, the legal framework, and ways in which organizations can engage in public advocacy and lobbying. Through joint work, the participants exchanged ideas and suggestions on how to present homelessness as a social, rather than an individual, problem.

Such initiatives contribute to strengthening the capacities of organizations dealing with issues of social exclusion and poverty, and open up space for joint action to ensure a dignified life for all.
