During the month of May of 2025, within the project "Support for children at risk of being involved in street life and/or work", an activity was carried out aimed at providing support to families living in the Adice settlement when enrolling their children in the first grade of primary school.

A total of 16 children were identified who should start school in September, and parents were provided with information and practical assistance so that their children could be successfully enrolled.

In order to make the transition from family to school as smooth as possible, educational workshops will be organized for future first-graders during the summer, along with the provision of school supplies. From the beginning of the school year, children will also be provided with continuous support through extended stays.

As a small token of appreciation on this occasion, the families with children were also offered with food donation from the Food Bank of Vojvodina .

The project is implemented by the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization with the support of Stepic CEE Charity from Vienna .
