Flower pot painting and flower planting workshop at the Bujanovac Reception Center

21. Jun 2025.

In the Bujanovac Reception Center, with the support of EHO, and on the occasion of June 20, International Migrants Day, several thematic creative workshops were held during June 2025, bringing together migrants of all ages. The goal of the workshops was to encourage a sense of community among the users of the Bujanovac Reception Center through art and flower planting and to provide them with a space for creative expression.

The participants painted flower pots with colorful motifs, expressing their feelings, memories and hopes. Each flower pot became a unique work of art, while planting plants represented a symbol of new beginnings and growth in unity.

This workshop provided migrants with an opportunity to relax, connect and, through creativity, contribute to the enrichment of the common space in the Reception Center.

We would like to thank all participants for their imagination and dedication, as well as our team for their support and organization. You can see photos of the works and moments from the workshop in the gallery below.

Together, let's plant the hopes and colors of the future!

These workshops were supported by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA).
