18. Sep 2025.
Inclusive education implies the ability of the education system to provide children with a quality education regardless of their differences. Recognizing the needs of children and increasing their participation in learning, cultural life and community life are the essence of inclusion. Kristina Demeter Filipčev, a journalist of the “Bečejski mozaik” newspapers and online portal from Bečej, spoke to the participants of the supervision meeting about the challenges of this process in our country, especially in the local context from which she comes. She spoke about this topic as an investigative journalist, but also from personal experience, exchanging experiences with associates of the project "Support for the Education of Socially Deprived Children and Youth in Serbia" who come from different local communities throughout Serbia.
The project "Support for the Education of Socially Deprived Children and Youth in Serbia" is implemented with the support of the German organization Brot für die Welt. The aim of the project is to improve the chances and success in education of children and youth who come from families with lower socio-economic status.
