Together with representatives of relevant stakeholders who directly work or are in contact with children from the migrant population, a representative of EHO participated in the training "Protection of Children in Emergency Situations" at the KIRS/SCRM Training Center Plandište on October 21-22.

The Commissariat for Refugees and Migration (KIRS/SCRM), in cooperation with the UNICEF, organized this training with the aim of strengthening the capacities of employees and better networking all stakeholders who directly work or may come into contact with children from the migrant population, including children with irregular status, asylum-seeking children, unaccompanied minors, etc., with the aim of providing more efficient protection to these children in the reception centers Principovac and Bujanovac.

The training was organized through the project "Promoting Evidence-Based Migration Management to Maximize Migration’s Development Potential", implemented in the Republic of Serbia by the KIRS/SCRM, IOM, UNICEF, UNHCR and UNDP.
