On the occasion of January 24, International Education Day, the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization organized an integrative creative workshop with migrants at the Bujanovac Reception Center, as part of a project ”Empowerment of refugee women, children and unaccompanied minors in Serbia” implemented in cooperation with the Commissariat for Refugees of the Republic of Serbia.

Through artwork and written messages, participants expressed the importance of education, learning and knowledge as the foundation of personal development and integration. Symbols of books, pens and messages written in different languages ​​were combined into a common panel, which testifies to the universal value of education.

The workshop provided a space for expression, dialogue and mutual understanding, contributing to strengthening psychosocial support for migrants. The Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization, supported by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA), continues to promote education, human rights and dignity of all people through similar and thematic activities.

Education is a human right, a strength and a path to the future.
