On Tuesday, February 24, the EHO team visited Elementary School “Matko Vuković” in Subotica, a partner school in the project "Education and Economic Empowerment of Marginalized Groups" and donated an interactive board. The project is implemented with the support of the organizations Brot für die Welt and Diakonie Württemberg / Hoffnung für Osteuropa.

The new equipment has already found its practical application. During the visit, a workshop was organized with students of different ages and grades, dedicated to celebrating International Mother Language Day. Through conversation and joint activities, the students explored the importance of language in preserving culture and tradition, and learned interesting facts about the languages of the world, their different types, and specific words that exist only in certain speech communities.

The workshop included Kahoot quiz, in which pupils used this competitive and interactive format to test their knowledge, actively participating in the final part of the program.

The visit took place in a working and stimulating atmosphere, with a good exchange of ideas, thus confirming the importance of cooperation in creating better conditions for learning and development of students, and also in the preserving of diversity and tradition.
