The Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization (EHO) continues to build bridges between education and the business sector. This time, the focus was on students from the Mechanical School in Novi Sad, who had the opportunity to learn firsthand how one of the leading domestic IT companies operates.

During the visit, Nina Dikić from the Vega IT marketing team delivered an inspiring presentation. The students were introduced to the company’s development history, learned about the cities where Vega IT has offices, and gained insight into the innovative projects the company is currently working on.

A particularly valuable part of the visit was the discussion on:

• Positions: What roles exist and what is expected from employees.
• Internship programs: How students can take their first professional steps during their education.
• Employment opportunities: What is needed for a successful career in the IT sector.

Along with 30 students, the visit was also attended by teachers Aleksandra and Zlatko, who supported this initiative aimed at the practical development of students.

These activities are part of EHO’s broader mission to contribute to building a more just society by developing the potential of vulnerable groups and young people, providing them with equal opportunities for professional growth. We thank Vega IT for their openness and willingness to share their knowledge with future professionals.

This visit marks the beginning of cooperation between EHO and Vega IT. Together, we will continue working on projects that provide young people with the necessary knowledge, skills, and direct insight into modern professional trends, thereby contributing to the development of the local community and creating new employment opportunities.
