Pupils from Novi Sad primary school discovering personal strengths for their future through an interactive workshop

17. Jun 2026.

Interactive workshop "Discover what you can do: What are your superpowers?" was held with the aim to help pupils grasp their strengths and talents, build self-confidence and learn how to use them for success in school and their future careers. The workshop was held on Thursday, June 11, at the "Dušan Radović" primary school in Novi Sad.

The workshop was led by Dunja Dmitrović from Vega IT and attended by 17 pupils - fifteen seventh-graders and two fifth-graders. Through practical exercises and discussions, the children were allowed to recognize their potential and see their strengths outside the classical school framework.

The activity was implemented as part of the project "Education and Economic Empowerment of Marginalized Groups", implemented by the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization (EHO) with the support of the German organizations Brot für die Welt and Diakonie Württemberg / Hoffnung für Osteuropa. The workshop was attended by the project coordinator Tanja Stojković and the external associate on the educational component Zorica Kalanjoš.

Activities aimed at developing children's personal capacities and their educational empowerment represent a direct implementation of the goals defined by the EHO Strategic Plan, which recognizes social inclusion and development of the potential of vulnerable groups through partnerships with economic and educational institutions as important steps towards building a more just society.

After the workshop, representatives of EHO and Vega IT discussed the needs of pupils and possibilities for future cooperation.

EHO expresses its gratitude to Vega IT for the partnership and willingness to jointly develop ideas that bring concrete and applicable solutions to the challenges of modern education to educators and school-children.
