A Cooperation Agreement with Municipality of Požega between EHO and Municipality of Požega was signed on 11 February 2020. The project „Social inclusion of Roma and other vulnerable groups in Serbia“ shall be realized in the Municipality of Požega and 9 other local-self-government units in Serbia during the following three-year period.
The project activities shall support Roma and other vulnerable families that require help in the process of legalization of their housing facilities aiming at a legally safe home. For the purpose of resolving rather complex property rights of plots in the settlement „Lisište“, finished were land-measurement works and preparation of legal ownership is already being processed.
The support in education and information on entitlements to other forms of assistance is also a consisting part of Project activities.
All activities shall be based on the needs of community, individuals and institutions aiming toward improved integration in the system of society.
