The World Day of Prayer event for 2020 was held on Friday 06 March at 5PM in Greek-Catholic parish of St Peter and St Paul in Novi Sad.

Lithurgy for women was written by ladies from Zimbabwe,titled “Rise! Take Your Mat and Walk,” based on Scriptural text in John 5:2-9. In Novi Sad, the local service was prepared and realized by women from 5 local churches ad lithurgy was read in altogether 6 languages. The prayer procession was participated by a remarkable number of people from different faith communities. 

This ecumenical women's event was honored by dignitaries from EHO founder churches. A great honor and acknowledgement to women's ecumenical work was made by the Bishop of the Diocese of St. Nicholas, Georgy Dzhuzhar, who attended the liturgy who welcomed and blessed this ecumenical prayer meeting at the beginning of the liturgy.
