Together with Oncology Institute of Vojvodina, Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization organized a training title "Functional and Psychological Needs of Oncological Patients" on Tuesday and Wednesday 10-11 March 2020 in the premises of Healthcare Center in Bački Petrovac. Trainers were Prof. dr Svetlana Popović Petrović and Ivana Novakov, master psychologist. The event was participated by 14 employees of Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization, Social welfare center of Bački Petrovac and Healtcare center of Bački Petrovac.
The training was initiated by the Social welfare center održavanja of Bački Petrovac, hoping that they would open a counseling place in near future to support cancer patients from the municipality of Bački Petrovac. Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization is providing a continuaous support to oncologic patients through EHO projects Green Ladies and Cancer Info, and this event is a step forward in the improvement of living quality of persons suffering from cancer.
