Support to OCDs in Serbia - 6 local initiaitives

The Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization from Novi Sad gave support to six associations of citizens on the territory of the Republic of Serbia, which will implement projects to support groups and families that are endangered in their local communities.
The projects that are currently being implemented are:
1. “Civil Rights and Obligations” - Roma association HERC from Lebane
2. “Autism speaks with heart” - women's initiative "Jefimija" from Sremska Mitrovica
3. “Support to socially vulnerable pupils who finish primary school” – Humanitarian association “Đina” from Bečej
4. “Didactics, Serbian language and math” - Cente for development of Roma community “Amaro drom” from Velika Plana
5. “Knowledge has power” - Roma center from Kruševac and Kraljevo
6. “Health for all” - Roma association “Zora” from Babušnica.
The project "Local mechanisms for the integration of marginalized groups" is a project of the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization implemented within the project "Local Initiatives for Inclusion of Marginalized Groups", funded by HfO (Hoffnung fur Osteuropa) and DW (Diakonie Wurtemberg) from Germany.
The project aims to support local initiatives that contribute to positive social change and strengthening civic initiatives in the Republic of Serbia. This goal is achieved by strengthening the capacity of organizations through training and mentoring and by providing small grants (grants) for small projects.
In the next period, the implementation of six local initiatives on the territory of the Republic of Serbia is expected.
