Local initiative "Civil Rights and Obligations" in Lebane

Association "Roma Herc" from Lebane is implementing the project "Civil Rights and Obligations". The project aims to raise awareness of the Roma community about civil rights, obligations and rights and the consequences of timely and untimely objections / appeals against court decisions, through information and education of members Roma community in Lebane.
The project is supported by the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization within the program "Local Mechanisms for Integration of Marginalized Groups" which aims to strengthen local mechanisms for socio-economic integration of marginalized groups and to support local initiatives that contribute to positive social change and the Republic of Serbia.
The goals of the program are achieved by strengthening the capacity of organizations through trainings and mentorships and by awarding small grants (non-refundable funds) for the implementation of projects that strengthen civic initiatives in the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
Implementation of project activities supported by EHO shall take place in the following municipalities:
Sremska Mitrovica,
Bečej,
Lebane,
Babušnica,
Smederevska Palanka,
Kragujevac and Krusevac.
The project is funded by HfO - Hoffnung fur Osteuropa (Hope for Eastern Europe) and DW (Diakonie Württemberg) from Germany.
