A traning on identity and discrimination

The fifth training on identity, within the module on recognizing discrimination against the Roma community in Serbia and institutional mechanisms for protection against discrimination, was held for volunteers of "Mobile Kindergarten" and "Mobile Schools" who will provide active support to children and to young people from the Roma community in the City of Šabac, on Friday, June 12, 2020 in the Center for Professional Development Šabac, and within the project "Strengthening the capacity of local and Roma communities in the city of Šabac for inclusive processes - LET'S GET INVOLVED (Inclusion Key) “.
The project is implemented by the City of Šabac, the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization from Novi Sad and the College of Social Work from Belgrade within the grant scheme of the program "EU Support to Roma Inclusion - Strengthening Local Communities for Roma Inclusion", funded by the European Union. Municipality - Union of Cities and Municipalities of Serbia.
The project contributes to strengthening and improving the social position of the Roma community in the City of Šabac and strengthens mechanisms for raising awareness of ways to effectively overcome discrimination against the Roma population, which results in reduced stigma, exclusion and positive impact on the wider community.
