Roma Association "Zora" from Babušnica implements the project "Health for All" which aims to increase the awareness of the Roma community about the importance of preventive health control and raise the level of health culture of Roma of all ages in rural areas of Babusnica through organized preventive examinations.
Preventive examinations and informing the Roma community about health will be realized in the ten most remote villages (Resnik, Bratiševac, Provaljenik, Suračevo, Gorčince, Ljuberađa, Kambelevac, Zavidince, Draginac and Striževac) on the territory of the municipality of Babušnica.
The project "Health for All" is implemented within the project "Local mechanisms for the integration of marginalized groups" funded by HfO (Hoffnung fur Osteuropa) and DW (Diakonie Wurtemberg) from Germany, and implemented by the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization from Novi Sad.
The project supports local initiatives that contribute to positive social change and strengthening civic initiatives in the Republic of Serbia.
