Association "Roma Heart Kruševac" and "Roma Center" from Kragujevac are implementing the project "Knowledge has power" which aims to strengthen the Roma community in Kragujevac and Krusevac for active job search through various trainings on writing a resume, cover letter and by organizing trainings for professional occupations. Special focus was given to the professional training of returnees from the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Serbia on the basis of the Readmission Agreement.
So far, over 40 participants have participated through trainings for writing a resume and cover letter when applying for a job, as well as motivational workshops for active job search. Six Roma women enrolled in training for professional occupations and retraining in Kruševac and Kragujevac.
The project "Knowledge has power" is implemented within the project "Local mechanisms for the integration of marginalized groups" funded by HfO (Hoffnung fur Osteuropa) and DW (Diakonie Wurtemberg) from Germany, and implemented by the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization from Novi Sad.
The project supports local initiatives that contribute to positive social change and strengthening civic initiatives in the Republic of Serbia.
