EHO has been implementing the project Empowerment of Refugee Women and Children in PC Sid with the support of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) since 01 July 2020. Our associates organized and held a creative workshop for children of different ages, who are mostly from Afghanistan, Iran and Iraq.
The children painted their portraits with tempera, but also portraits of their mothers. At the end of the workshop, all the works were exhibited in the children's corner, which made them especially happy and proud.
The workshop was held in the yard of the reception center, with the aim of implementing preventive measures and to keep the children indoors as little as possible.
The children really liked the workshop and expressed the desire to repeat this activity as often as possible in the future.
