Trainig of volunteers to provide psychosocial support

How to provide psychosocial support to those who need it and what are the responsibilities of volunteers and organizers of volunteer activities, but also how to establish professional boundaries of volunteers while working with members of the Roma community - were some topics of training for volunteers in the project "Strengthening the capacity of local and Roma communities on the territory of the City of Šabac for inclusive processes LET'S GET INVOLVED (Key to Inclusion)" which was organized on Friday, September 11, 2020 at the Center for Professional Development in Šabac.
The aim of the training was for volunteers who have already completed one cycle of training in the previous period within the project "Key to Inclusion" to gain additional knowledge and skills on how to support members of the Roma community in a crisis situation and how to identify risks. for the psychological health of young Roma in the territory of the City of Šabac.
The project is implemented by the City of Sabac, the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization from Novi Sad and the College of Social Work from Belgrade within the grant scheme of the program "EU Support to Roma Inclusion - Strengthening Local Communities for Roma Inclusion", funded by the European Union and implemented by the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities - Association of Cities and Municipalities of Serbia.
