Cooperation agreement signed with the Institute for negotiation, mediation and public policies

Absolute respect for human rights, affirmation of a society of equal citizens and equal opportunities, mutual trust and reconciliation, improvement of the position of marginalized and other vulnerable groups in society, constant networking and promotion of social activism - these are the elements and starting point of the contract signed between Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization (EHO) and the Institute for Mediation, Negotiation and Public Policy in Novi Sad.
In the coming period, these two partners shall work on:
- design, planning and implementing joint initiatives, education, research, public policies, conferences, forums, round tables and other activities within one or more projects of interest to the local and wider community and their sustainable development;
- exchange of experiences, positive practices and innovative models in accordance with the activities of each Party;
- exchange of professional, professional and logistical competencies and skills;
- Involvement of other stakeholders in development and implementation of joint projects, as well as other potential sources of funding, and mutual informing in a timely manner.
The first joint activity of these two partners shall be realized in the legal component of the project "Social inclusion of Roma and other vulnerable groups in Serbia 2019-2022" impleneted by EHO in partnership with 11 local governments (Novi Sad, Žabalj, Šabac, Belgrade - Zvezdara, Belgrade - Obrenovac, Aranđelovac, Smederevska Palanka, Požega, Kragujevac, Raška and Surdulica).
The aim of the project is to support the process of improving the quality of life and social inclusion of Roma and other vulnerable groups in the Republic of Serbia, through the components of housing, education, legal support and multisectoral cooperation. The project is financially supported by a long-standing international partner HEKS / EPER from Switzerland.
