During the past week, EHO officially received a certificate from the European Commission, and thus a certificate of compliance with the standards for the admission and guidance of volunteers from European Union countries. Obtaining the certificate is the result of work within the two-year project "Strengthening the capacity of humanitarian organizations to receive and guide EU volunteers." The mentioned project is being realized by EHO together with MHD Merhamet Sandžak from Novi Pazar and Čovekoljublja, a charity foundation of the Serbian Orthodox Church from Belgrade, under the mentorship of ADRA Slovakia (ADRA), and funding is provided from EU funds within the EU Aid Volunteering program.
