The project entitled "Prevention of malignant diseases of women from rural settlements in Vojvodina" consists of organizing gynecological and mammographic examinations for about 50 women from rural settlements in Vojvodina. The goal of the project is early detection of uterine and breast cancer and raising awareness of the importance of preventive examinations. Preventive examinations are organized in private polyclinics in Novi Sad and Belgrade. Last week, about 20 women underwent a complete preventive diagnosis at the Marić Polyclinic. Women are very satisfied with the examinations provided and the professional work of selected gynecologists. The examined women came from Aradac, Stara Pazova, Pivnica, Backa Palanka and Kisač.

The project is supported by the The Fellowship of the Least Coin, which funds projects around the world that empower women and improve their quality of life.

Next week, mammography examinations are planned at the HealthMedic polyclinic in Novi Sad.
