Easter is the greatest Christian holiday. It is a holiday that symbolizes the victory of life over death, the triumph of good over evil through the act of Christ's resurrection. This year, Roman Catholics celebrated Easter on April 4th , while Orthodox celebrated it on May 2nd. 

On Good Friday, the day when Jesus was crucified on the hill of Golgotha, according to the verdict of the Roman procupator Pontius Pilate, it is customary to paint eggs, mostly red. The Easter egg represents the victory of life, because the egg is a symbol of the birth of a new life. For Christians, Jesus Christ is the savior who gave his life and was resurrected to secure the Kingdom of Heaven for people. 

"I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness." (John 12: 46-50). 

As part of the advisory - therapeutic and social educational Services in the municipality of Raška, a workshop was held on the occasion of the Easter holidays for our users, in cooperation with the Association for Aid to MNRO.
