The World Day of Cultural Diversity was celebrated with our young beneficiaries with the help of our associates through an educational and creative workshop in the reception center Šid. This reception center is a host of a genuine encounter of different cultures, so the topic was very close to the children and they were able to Get actively  involved. The aim of the' workshop was to emphasize the importance and richness of different cultures by emphasizing the equal rights of all. After talking and discussing the customs, traditions, and characteristics of all the cultures present, the children easily approached the creative work. They expressed their views through drawings, and through their works we share impressions from our workshop.

The project "Empowerment of Refugee Women and Children", is implemented by the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization with the support of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA), in two refugee reception centers: in Šid for 142 persons and in Sombor for 633 persons.
