Our activists and women in the reception center Šid organized an activity of arranging and planting of various flowers and herbs during the month of May 2021. A large number of refugee women generously responded to the participation and gladly joined the work. The women showed their aesthetic skills and a good knowledge in distinguishing and nurturing different types of plants. Since their indigenous cuisine uses different herbs, a special section of the garden was set aside for growth of specific herbs to be used in cooking. The activity was realized in a pleasant atmosphere and attracted the attention of all staff and dwellers in the reception center. And it is especially important to notice the end result – a better visual presentation of the center.
