Domestic violence was the topic of the training intended for local educational coordinators, field associates who are engaged in the project "Support to the education of socially deprived children and youth in Serbia" for the fourth consecutive year. Some of the topics covered theoretically were, what types of violence exist, how to recognize them and how to help a pupil/student who may suffer violence directly or indirectly. Practical topics were analysis of situations experienced by our associates in their practical work. The two-day training was held on June 17 and 18 via the zoom platform, and the lecturer was psychologist and gestalt psychotherapist Svetlana Prokić.

The goal of the project "Support to the education of socially deprived children and youth in Serbia" is to improve the chances and success in the education of poor primary and secondary school students, and it is realized with the financial support of the Brot für die Welt from Germany
