A workshop was held on the topic: Prevention to early detection of malignant diseases in women from rural areas of Vojvodina

This year, the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization launched a project entitled: "Prevention to early detection of malignant diseases in women from rural areas of Vojvodina", which aims to raise awareness of the importance of prevention and early diagnosis of malignant diseases in women. The first workshop was held on Thursday, 15.07. 2021 in Stara Pazova in the premises of the parish home of the Slovak Evangelical Church. 18 women of different ages gathered and the presentation aroused a great interest. The lecturer, Dr. Zita Belić is a specialist in emergency medicine and a long-term associate of EHO on health projects. She informed the present women about the recognition of early symptoms and signs of the most common malignant diseases in women. The workshop was interactive and open for participants to share their experiences and ask questions. The married couple and the priests of this church community, Svetlana Vojnić Feldy and Igor Feldy, welcomed this project and expressed interest in continuing the cooperation.
