Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization - EHO together with partner organizations from Dortmund - Evangelische Jugend Dortmund und Lünen and Ev. Noah Kirchgemeinde Dortmund, participated in the thirteenth youth exchange in a row from Novi Sad and Dortmund.
This year's exchange was realized in the sister city of Dortmund, with the theme "European identity", in order to promote European identity, European citizenship and exchange opinions and attitudes of young people on the importance of strengthening citizen participation in local community life and environmental protection. The program included the realization of workshops, a visit to institutions and organizations, as well as a reception with the Deputy Mayor of Dortmund. During the ten-day visit, the cities of Cologne and Essen were also visited, and on that occasion, the participants got acquainted with the historical and cultural heritage of these cities.
The program was attended by young volunteers who are involved in various program contents of the work of the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization and volunteers Evangelische Jugend Dortmund und Lünen and Ev. Noah Kirchgemeinde Dortmund, ages 17 to 26. During the realized visit, the topic for the next exchanges "Gender Equality", which will be organized in 2022 in Novi Sad, was agreed upon by joint work.
