The main goal of the project is to empower and build the capacity of smaller Roma citizens' associations from the territory of AP Vojvodina to implement local initiatives that respond to the social, educational, cultural and other needs of the Roma community and to improve the position of the Roma community at the local level through the implementation of small local projects.

The project has two components:
1. Organizing a seminar for representatives of Roma organizations on the topic: Mapping the needs of the target group, writing projects - managing projects and reporting. After the seminar, the representatives of the organizations will write their projects, of which the best 6 will be selected for financing.
2. Implementation of 6 small local projects, monitoring and reporting.

The selected Roma organizations will be awarded grants in the amount of RSD 150,000.00 for the implementation of the small local projects.
The local projects will last from October 15, 2024 to February 15, 2025.
The project "Empowering of local Roma organizations" lasts from September 2024 to February 2025. The project is financed by HfO - Diakonia Württemberg from Germany.
