Children’s Week Celebrated in Raška

11. Oct 2021.

Children's Week, celebrated each year during the first week of October, aims to improve social position of all children in Serbia. It is a reminder of children’s rights and needs and of importance of providing each child with educational, social, health and financial support during their growing up, encouraging us to further develop children's potential.

As part of the Advisory Therapeutic and Social Educational Services in Raška, Children's Week was celebrated and beneficiaries of our services participated in various activities. A workshop on the topic of Children's Rights was held, the creativity of our users was encouraged by making different shapes of balloons, we participated in an art competition with the theme "Friendship is a children's kingdom" of the Children's Association of Raška, and we were visited by pupils from Raška Elementary School.

During Children's Week, citizens from Raška donated original handmade dolls for the needs of our services. Many thanks to all beneficiaries and employees of Counseling Services, and all who recognize the needs of our children.
