Stanka Janković

Stanka Janković has been working in the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization since 2001. She is currently in the position of Project Coordinator, where she is directly in charge of coordinating the project aimed at mobilizing and improving the position of the Roma community at the local level, implementing activities related to improving the educational level of the Roma community, as well as improving the position and capacity of pedagogical assistants.

During her career, Stanka worked in the following areas: education, employment and housing of Roma, mobilization and community participation, inclusion of Roma, development of strategic documents, advocacy and lobbying to improve the position of Roma. She is the founder of several Roma associations on the territory of Serbia.

Stanka is in the first year of political science at the Faculty of European Legal and Political Studies in Novi Sad, and she also studied at the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad. She has a certificate from the School of Romology at the University of Novi Sad, as well as a diploma in Women's Studies. She is also the co-author of the books Romani 1 and 2.

In her free time, she cultivates and arranges fresh flowers.
