Two months from the beginning of project "Public works"

From 01 July 2020, EHO started the Public Works project and employed were 3 people with disabilities to work in collection and distribution of second-hand clothes in our second-hand clothes warehouse. They are working on the reception, selection (if necessary and washing) and issuing second-hand clothes to users. The second-hand wardrobe warehouse is reopened for users from marginalized categories every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 to 14:00.

Learning Serbian language and mathematics in Reception center Šid

Considering that the children dwelling in the Reception center Šid did not attend school for a long time due to the COVID 19 pandemic, but also the fact that it was summer vacation, most of them express a desire to renew the acquired knowledge and learn something new. As always, listening to children's wishes and interests, our associates in the field organized exercises in mathematics and the Serbian language.

Soap making in Refugee center in Šid

After dissolving the glycerin, refugees choose the color they want to add and the essential oil, in addition to alcohol for disinfection and sequins as desired. Then they pour the mixture into molds of different shapes and after the mixture hardens, the soap is ready for use.
